The Capital Projects Engineer will provide technical leadership and manage the execution of multiple projects. Reporting to the Vice President Operational Transformation, the Capital Project Engineer (CPE) role will be an engineering and technical resource for the current large capital project and future projects. 

They make highly engineered advanced materials for global customers across a wide range of markets, including consumer electronics, defense and science, industrial and aerospace, automotive electronics, telecommunications infrastructure, appliances, medical and energy. Specifically, they make beryllium products, braze & solder alloys, clad metals, high performance alloys, inorganic chemicals, metal matrix composites, microelectronics packaging materials, precision optics, technical ceramics, and thin film coatings.

This take-charge project engineer shall have a proven track record of leading projects and be providing strong customer focus, building collaboration with site and other functional groups, approaching deliverables with a sense of urgency, and driving design, construction, management, and execution of small to large capital projects to successful completion.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
2+ years of experience with project management
Experience with metals manufacturing 
Experience managing project scope, schedules, finances, risks, and resources
ITAR COMPLIANT:  US CITIZENS AND GREEN CARDS ONLY
BS in Engineering 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience with project management for chemical process manufacturing
PMP Certification
Six Sigma certification 
Experience with Project Management Software 
Experience with MS Office, MS Project, SAP
Experience with beryllium products, braze & solder alloys, clad metals, high performance alloys, inorganic chemicals, metal matrix composites, microelectronics packaging materials, precision optics, technical ceramics, or thin film coatings
Experience with Front-End Loading (FEL) and/or Front-End Engineering Design (FEED), and the Stage-Gate Process for developing, leading and managing projects
