The Combustion Engineer will report to the Reliability manager, and provide technical support for the various combustion systems throughout the facility. This includes identifying and correcting deficiencies, defining improvement projects and participating in major capital improvements for their rolled aluminum products they manufacture for the automotive and aerospace industries.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Must be ITAR compliant
3+ years of experience with combustion engineering for manufacturing plant
Experience troubleshooting combustion control systems
Experience troubleshooting PLC and HMI controls
Experience with NFPA and NEC codes
Experience with MS Office Suite
Comfortable with Union Environment
BS in Engineering OR “if no degree” 10+ years of comparable industrial energy management with proven track record
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience working with rolled aluminum manufacturing
Experience with Microsoft Power BI or Visual Basic
Experience working in the aerospace or defense industry
Six Sigma certifications
Experience working with competitors Aleris, Arconic, Special Metals, Novelis, Kaiser, United Aluminum
Certified Energy Manager (CEM) Certification
MS in Electrical Engineering
Salary Range: $90,000 to $125,000 DOE
Bonus: 12% annual bonus
