The Design Engineer is responsible for the overall design of spiral and air cooled heat exchangers per customer order. The design will include calculations to verify the unit design to ASME Codes and customer criteria, associated G/A and manufacturing prints, BOM’s, and Document Control records. The Design Engineer will work with the Project Manager and other Contract Order Team members to meet the contract order requirements, and make continuous improvements in the tools and procedures used by the Engineering Dept. and Contract Order Team.
REQUIRED EXPEREICNE AND SKILLS:
1+ year of experience with mechanical design
1+ year of experience with 3D design and modeling using Solidworks or Inventor
Knowledge of AMSE boiler and pressure vessel codes
BS in Mechanical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience designing boilers, tanks, or other pressure vessels
Experiecne working within MRP or ERP systems
