The Design Engineer II will be part of a project team to oversee the design and development of new product or the redesign of current products as they manufactuer fork lifts from scratch. The position will perform engineering functions as required to design and/or redesign products in accordance with quality, production and customer standards. The position is involved in organizing and executing various engineering and other tasks associated with creating and implementing product designs.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
3+ years of experience designing mechanical products for manufacturing
Experience designing with IDEAS or NX
Basic mechanical understanding of fork truck design and operation
Able to travel abroad including North America and Internationally
BS in Engineering (BSME preferred)
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience designing moblie equipment or fork lifts
Experience working directly with clients and good customer services
Experience performing complex calculations in mechanical, electrical or hydraulic engineering
Experience working with UL, NFPA, ANSI, ISO, ITA standards
Salary Range: $70,000 to $90,000 DOE
