The EHS Coordinator will develop and enforce a workplace culture of health and safety. Develop and implement safety programs and policies, assign and train personnel on new protocols/procedures, and ensure that the organization is in compliance with all health and safety regulations and training requirements. They manufacture electrical controls and critical power generation products like mobile power units for many industries including the defense industry.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience with Environmental, Health & Safety management
3+ years of experience in developing programs ensuring compliance with federal and state regulatory EHSS agencies
Experience identifying EHS gaps, develop corrective measures and implement solutions to sustain compliance with EHS laws
Experience with routine compliance EHS audits to provide reports and action plans
ITAR FACILITY: ONLY US CITIZENS, GREEN CARD, PERM RESIDENTS
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience working for designing tactical equipment, or mobile power units manufacturer
Experience with Illinois EPA agency
CSP, CHMM or CIH designations
BS in anything (preferably EHS, Engineering or related)
