The Environmental, Health and Safety Manager will plan, administer, and supervise an ongoing environmental, safety, and health program in accordance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, EPA requirements and applicable Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company EHS systems, processes and programs.
They make highly engineered advanced materials for global customers across a wide range of markets, including consumer electronics, defense and science, industrial and aerospace, automotive electronics, telecommunications infrastructure, appliances, medical and energy. Specifically, they make beryllium products, braze & solder alloys, clad metals, high performance alloys, inorganic chemicals, metal matrix composites, microelectronics packaging materials, precision optics, technical ceramics, and thin film coatings.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
10+ years of experience in the field of Environmental, Health & Safety management
10+ years of experience in designing/managing programs ensuring compliance with federal and state regulatory EHSS agencies
Experience in a manufacturing environment
ITAR COMPLIANT: US CITIZENS AND GREEN CARDS ONLY
BS in anything (preferably EHS, Engineering or related)
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience as EHS Manager for a chemical manufacturing facility
Experience with management of compliance for ISO 14001 requirements
CSP, CHMM or CIH designations
MS in EHS, Engineering, or related
