The Electrical Engineer will be reporting to the maintenance manager. The primary responsibility is to apply the principals of electrical engineering in the design, manufacturing, maintenance, troubleshooting, reliability and continuous improvement of the process for their equipment that manufactures aluminum rolled products for their clients in the transportation, military defense and general engineering sectors.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
3+ years of experience as Electrical Engineer with industrial manufacturing
Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, controls, drives, DC/AC control systems, and 13.8 KV/480 KV power systems
Experience programming Allen Bradley PLC's
Experience with VFD's and instrumentation control
Familiar with National Electrical Code, including NFPA70E
BS in Electrical Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience working with rolled aluminum or metals manufacturing
Experience programming Siemens or Modicon PLC's
Experience troubleshooting of overhead and gantry cranes
Experience with aluminum coil processing processes
Salary Range: $90,000 to $110,000 DOE + Benefits
