The Electrical Design Engineer will work in the Research and Development of textile, fiber, and fabric instrumentation including architectural definition, circuit design, and PCB layout.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
5+ years of experience with design and test of analog and digital circuits
Experience with design and test of electro-mechanical and electro-optical instrumentation
Experience with Altium or Spice for analog design
BS in Electrical Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience with textile instrumentation PCB development and circuit design
Experience with design of instrumentation analog electronics utilizing amplifiers, FETs, BJT’s, switching and linear DC/DC supplies
Experience with design of interface electronics for intelligent motors, sensors, optical detectors, illumination, and data communications, including USB and Ethernet
Experience with design of interface circuits for stepper and BLDC motor control
MS in Electrical Engineering or related
Salary Range: $80,000 to $120,000 DOE
Bonus: 8% annual bonus
