The Electrical Engineer is responsbile for the development and optimization for solar photovoltaic (PV) projects. They will design and develop electrical systems for solar PV installations, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency and sustainability.
Responsible for conducting thorough performance analyses to optimize system efficiency and collaborating closely with project managers, utility engineers, and structural engineers to integrate electrical components seamlessly into our projects. They will also be responsible for the preparation and review of electrical schematics, line diagrams, and technical documentation, while ensuring strict compliance with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
3+ years of experience with electrical engineering for solar photovoltaic projects
Experience with design and develop electrical systems for solar PV installations
Experience conducting performance analyses to optimize system efficiency
Experience preparing electrical schematics, line diagrams, technical documentation
BS in Electrical Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience with project management or leading solar photovoltaic projects
Experience with NJ electrical codes and safety standards
MS in Electrical Engineering
Salary Range: $85,000 to $185,000 DOE
