The Network Engineer will be responsible for providing industrial networking and automation support (75% on the manufacturing floor) including the management, daily troubleshooting support, design and solution implementation of all industrial networks on the manufacturing plant floor, including servers, switches, HMI industrial PC’s and numerous PLC’s.
They will also be responsible for Business Network Support (25% in the office) including analyzing and resolving problems related to office based personal computers, windows servers, local area networks, operating systems and all other areas of infrastructure that may come under their control.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
3+ years of experience as a Network Engineer (or related) in a heavy/industrial manufacturing environment or similar
3+ years of experience managing all industrial network server hardware, virtual machines and installed software
3+ years of experience managing and troubleshooting end-user workstations and related hardware/software
Experience analyzing existing industrial network infrastructure, identify weaknesses, vulnerabilities and IT policy compliance issues.
Experience with VMware products
Experience with SQL Server
B.S. in IT, Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience or interest with industrial HMI and PLC Programming/Troubleshooting
Project Management experience – major infrastructure improvement projects
Develop written training documents of network and server troubleshooting
