The Manufacturing Engineer performs support in the design, fabrication, modification, and evaluation of manufacturing operations for CNC machined aerospace parts. They will work to create and improve manufacturing processes to increase output and minimize scrap while maintaining quality standards.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
8+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a CNC machining environment
8+ years of experience with CAD/CAM software (Pro/E and Wildfire are preferred)
5+ years of experience with tooling design and improvement
2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing
Recent experience working with sheet metal
Experiecne with root cause analysis to identify issues
Experience with continuous improvement projects for CNC manufacturing
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with CNC programming
Experience working with nickel or cobalt
