The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for development of process for new programs assigned and continuous improvement of existing programs. They manufacture automotive interior components and systems such as instrument panels and consoles, door systems, headliner and overhead systems, and cockpit and console systems.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
3+ years of experience as Manufacturing Engineer in automotive industry or related
Experience with time studies, BOM's and engineering changes (EC's)
Experience with PFMEA and APQP
Experience with MS Office
BS in Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience working with automotive interior systems manufacturing
Experience with injection molding or foaming systems
Experience with development of cell layouts
Experience running Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO's) and High Volume Production Trial (HVPT's)
Six Sigma certifications
