.The Mechanical Drafter/Design Engineer is responsible for designing process piping equipment in the water membrane process industry. Every project is custom, which means each water treatment and system design is different.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
2+ years of experience with fluid handling or fluid systems
Experience with AutoCAD 3D for mechanical design
Experience performing calculations for stress, deflection, pipe size, pipe pressure drop, pump and valve sizing
AS in Mechanical Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience with water treatment membrane process or related in the Water Industry
Experience specifying system components for operation and monitoring of filtration systems
Experience designing skid-mounted capital equipment b
Experience with process piping design
Experience with Solidworks
Experience with inFlow Inventory software
3 year average at each company candidate worked at
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related
Salary Range: $60,000 to $90,000 DOE
Hybrid work schedule – 2 days only at the office per week
