The Mission Critical Electrical Engineer will be approving and signing off on designing and specifying significant amounts of power to increase reliability, limit outages and provide for redundancy of mission critical facilities which include hospitals, laboratories and data centers for Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) vertical projects across the midwest. They will be working on almost every type of commercial or industrial projects which include Education (K-12 and Higher Education), Commercial, Industrial, Healthcare, Government, Manufacturing, Retail, Hospitality, Retirement Communities, Design-Build, Mission Critical, and Military/DOD.
Their primary focus will be to design Site Power Distribution, Building Power Distribution, Lighting Design, Grounding Systems, Fire Alarm Device Layout, Technology Design, Sustainable Design, and Code Analysis. All positions with this company are very customer focused and all employees are expected to interact with clients on a professional and customer service based level.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Professional Engineer License
5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in the AEC Industry
Experience working on mission critical AEC projects
Experience designing building power, lighting, and technology systems
Experience with professional and customer service based interaction with clients
Experience making presentations to clients
BS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience designing with Revit
Experience with production of construction documents and construction administration for projects
MS in Electrical or Architectural Engineering
Salary Range: $115,000 to $150,000 DOE
