The NPD Sourcing Supervisor will be responsible for identifying manufacturing partners for all New Product Development Programs. The role will involve evaluating suppliers based on their capability, capacity, price, quality, and delivery speed, ensuring that we have the best possible partners for our programs.
They will also be responsible for analyzing price proposals, program profitability, and other information to determine if they enter into production. Will need to have a deep understanding of program profitability and be able to use this knowledge to make informed decisions. Also, will project manage the entire NPD life-cycle from drawing release to First Article delivery.
They do not manufacture at this location and outsource everything and bring in products from their suppliers that go into the quality department. Products could be literally anything on or in a plane, from the nose to the tail of the plane, and from wing to wing, also could be anything exterior or interior. Literally, anything on or in a plane.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
5+ years of experience with sourcing for new products materials
???????Experience with heavy manufacturing and purchasing
Experience in the aerospace industry and understanding of first article delivery
Experience reading Blue Prints and determining manufacturing methods needed to produce the article
Experience researching and negotiating with manufacturing partners or vendors
Experience with MS Office suite

Experience in Secondary and Outside processing
BS degree in anything
