The Production Supervisor responsible for the production scheduling and assigning work for 17 direct reports, and scheduling production payments for their high end pianos that they manufacture. This position oversees the second to last department before the pianos are put in a box then shipped off.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
2+ years of experience as a production supervisor in manufacturing
Experience assigning daily work schedules for employees
Experience maintaining inventory of required materials and equipment
Ok supervising union employees
Must be vaccinated
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience managing 17 direct reports
Experience with WIP lean manufacturing concept
Experience with piano manufacturing
Experience in action and tone regulation for pianos
Formal training certifications in manufacturing
AS or BS degree in engineering
