The Black Belt Project Manager will be responsible for leading and driving process improvement initiatives within the manufacturing operations for their printing inks, coatings and supplies, pigments, polymers, liquid compounds, solid compounds, and application materials they make. This role is responsible for the coaching of site personnel in the application of Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques to deliver sustainable benefits and increase capabilities to meet customer needs.
This role will involve analyzing current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies to optimize efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity. The Manufacturing Black Belt Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and deliver measurable results.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
3+ years of experience with leading process improvements for regulated manufacturing
Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
Experience with data analysis and statistical tools, such as Minitab or JMP
Experience with project management and managing multiple projects at once
Ok with 50-60% travel
BS in Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience leading process improvements for a chemical manufacturing operation
Experience with printing inks, coatings and supplies, pigments, polymers, liquid compounds, solid compounds, and application materials
Experience with OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) Requirements
MS in Engineering
Salary Range: $70,000 to $125,000 DOE
Bonus: 10% annual bonus
