The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining quality engineering methodologies and providing quality engineering support for our custom product realization process. Working with manufacturing engineering, production, and quality to deliver exception quality process to the factory floor.
They specialize in contract manufacturing for box build assembly with capabilities from installing a printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) into an enclosure, to assembling electromechanical systems complete with cables, labels and packaging for their clients in the aerospace and defense industries.
The Quality Engineer is an integral part of the organization, leading, collaborating, facilitating and supporting the needs of the organization with a sense of ownership and integrity fostering an inclusive/engaged work environment and a shared Quality culture.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
5+ years quality experience in an electronics/electro-mechanical manufacturing
Experience and expertise in investigating root cause analysis, CAPA, SCAR
Experience utilizing tools such as six-sigma, lean, 8-D, CAPA, PFMEA, or 5 Whys
Experience with Internal Audits
Experience with QMS systems
Working Knowledge of appropriate regulatory agencies AS9100, EN13485, ISO9001

BS in Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Six Sigma Black Belt certification
Experience with PCB assembly for custom manufacturing operation
Experience box build assembly for printed circuit board assembly PCBA
Experience with optical assembly
