The SMT Engineer supports day-to-day operations, effectiveness and influence the next generation of designs. Our SMT Engineers are responsible for implementation, support and direction for reengineering and optimization of manufacturing process, equipment technology, and lean manufacturing process. Company is a full service EMS provider and capabilities are PCB Assembly and Test, Cable Assembly and Test, and System Level Assembly and Test for the Aerospace, Defense, Industrial Controls and Transportation industries.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
ITAR COMPLIANCE: US CITIZENS, GREEN CARDS, PERM RESIDENTS
5+ years of experience with improvement of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) related processes
Experience with identifying and improving product quality, process capability and product reliability
Experience with SPC and provide hands-on support of SMT manufacturing
processes
Ok with smaller company environment
BS in Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience with Panasonic equipment
Experience with SMT equipment => Koa Young AOI, Panasonic, Valor, X-Ray
Experience with know how to program & scrub a bom
Experience the design, execution, and sustaining of manufacturing processes and SMT technologies
Experience with electrical and automation robot cell programming for pick and place machines
Experience with new product introduction
