The Quality Assurance Engineer will assist in the implementation the company QA program at a facility producing the high precision titanium tube products for very demanding markets like Aerospace and Medical.This role includes maintaining and improving the Quality Management Systems to meet industry standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and NQA-1 and to ensure customer specifications are satisfactorily met.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in an ISO 9001 or AS 9100 manufacturing environment
Experience with AS9100 or ASME NQA-1 quality standards
Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
Experience with internal and external quality audits
Experience with nondestructive testing (NDT)
US Citizen
Bachelors degree (Engineering Preferred)
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with metals manufacturing
Six Sigma Certification
NDT Certification
ASQ Certification
