The Electrical Engineer Project Leader provides technical expertise in design, development, testing, troubleshooting and installation of automated packaging equipment as needed. This position will work with off the shelf equipment and work with customers to customize as needed for their processes.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
3+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer in an OEM, integrator, or manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience with programming PLC’s and HMI’s from scratch
Experience with programming Allen Bradley PLC’s
Experience programming Servos or other motion controllers
Experience with electrical design using AutoCAD or Eplan
Experience with equipment testing, troubleshooting, and installation
Strong customer facing skills
BS in Electrical Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience working with automated packaging equipment
Experience with programming Siemens PLC’s or HMI’s
