he Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be charged with managing the Manufacturing Engineering department including all continuous improvement projects. They will develop plans and budgets for those projects including new capital equipment and upgrades. This company makes electro-mechanical devices and cables for the automotive industry.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in an automated manufacturing facility
3+ years of experience in an ISO9001 or IATF16949 manufacturing environment
2+ years of experience managing engineers and technicians
Experince with applying lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma principles including PFMEA
Experience working with production tooling and cost estimating
experience working with an ERP system (BaaN is a plus)
BS in Mechanical Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience in an automotive supplier manufacturing environment
Experince with PLC programming
Experience with Rockwell Plex software
Experince with MS Project
Experince with ISO14001 standards
