An IT Support Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to production and end-users within a manufacturing environment. They play a crucial role in resolving hardware, software, and network issues to ensure smooth operations and user satisfaction.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
1+ year of experience in an IT or Help Desk role in a manufacturing (or similar) environment
1+ year of experience with computer hardware and software installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
1+ year of experience with tracking and documenting issues through a ticketing system (Freshservice is a plus)
Experience with Windows and Android based operating systems
Experinece with networking protocols
Experience with remote support tools
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience in a 24/7 manufacturing facility
Experience with Linux operating systems
Experience with ERP systems (PLEX is a plus)
