The process control engineer will develop and maintain control systems (DCS and PLC) for real-time, on-line control of production processes in a paper manufacturing plant. They will work as a team with operations, maintenance, technical services, environmental, engineering and IT to improve manufacturing efficiencies and quality by applying control system knowledge to minimize variation and reduce costs.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
3+ years of experience as a Process Control Engineer in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience in paper, chemical, pharmaceutical, or related industry
3+ years of experience with DCS systems such as DeltaV or Foxboro
3+ years of experience with programming Allen Bradley or Modicon PLC's
Experience with PSM and OSHA safety standards
BS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with pulp & paper manufacturing
Experience with upgrading legacy equipment and process controls
Experience integrating new equipment in to DCS
