The Senior Manufacturing Controls Engineer will play pivotal role in providing technical expertise for the design, development, and optimization of our industrial control systems. They will establish and enforce engineering standards, collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems into manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include defining requirements for controls projects, project management, troubleshooting, continuous improvement, and fostering an innovative culture. They will also manage relationships with contract controls vendors, ensuring effective collaboration and the successful implementation of projects.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley is a plus)
5+ years of experience with troubleshooting and debugging control systems for automated manufacturing equipment
Experience with programming and troubleshooting HMI's
Experience with robotic control systems and integrating robotics in to manufacturing processes
Experience with leading control system projects from concept to completion
BS in Electrical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with consumer appliance manufacturing
Experience with MES or SCADA systems
Experience with C, C++, or Python programming languages
