The Plant Engineer will ensure proper installation and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities to provide a safe, efficient and cost-effective operation in a building materials manufacturing environment. This position will report to the Plant Manager.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as a Plant Engineer or related working on capital projects and equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment
5+ years of experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting
Experience with project management for capital equipment projects including budgeting and scheduling
Experience with setting and managing preventative and predictive maintenance plans
Experience with AutoCAD for electrical design and machine layout
BS in Electrical Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with drywall or other building materials manufacturing
PMP certification
