The Quality Engineer will focus on continuous improvement and working cross-functionally with Engineering, Production Operations, and Customer service in a metal machining environment. This position works closely with customers to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations within the structure of the ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System.
REQUIRED EXPEIRENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a metal machining environment
5+ years of experience with ISO 9001 quality standards
Experience with CNC mill and lathe machining processes
Experience with geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience with first article inspection (FAI) and PPAP approval processes
Experience with Gage R&R
Experience with FMEA to identify and correct quality issues
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with using and programming CMM (PCDMIS)
Experience with GageTrac calibration software
Experience working with John Deere or Caterpillar as a customer
