The Instrumentation & Controls Engineer will have work assignments that include instrumentation and controls design, PLC and HMI programming, and may include design of control panels, power and control electrical to process equipment, and other facility systems for industrial water and wastewater systems.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer in the water/wastewater, food and beverage, or chemical industries
5+ years of experience with programming PLC's from scratch
5+ years of experience with programming HMI's
Experience with designing SCADA systems
Experience with electrical design using AutoCAD
Experience with P&ID
Experience with industrial network protocols such as Ethernet/IP, ControlNET, and DeviceNET
Willing to travel 25% domestic and some international
BS in Electrical or Chemical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience working with water and wastewater systems
Experience with an EPC firm
PE license or ability to obtain one
