Electrical Controls Engineer (Programming)
Conduct design work and provide programming for new and existing company products. Responsible for the accuracy and utility of all drawings. Assist in creation of O&M manuals. Programming and all design calculations required both for the initial design and subsequent production. Assist in trouble shooting field problems. Provide technical support to other departments in the company.
Company offers 5% profit sharing and 5% Bonus + 5 weeks of vacation first year.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
3+ years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer working for an OEM/Integrator
3+ years of experience with programming Allen Bradley PLCs & HMI from scratch
3+ years of experience with RSLogix and FactoryTalk
Experience with electrical design using AutoCAD
Experience evaluating and proposing electrical components
Experience with commissioning automated process equipment
Strong communication skills and comfortable with client communication
Willing to travel 10% domestic and international
BS in Electrical Engineering or related
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with programming Schneider Electric OR Siemens PLC's
