Electrical Design Engineer (Design Focused)
Review submittal drawings and data required for customer design approval. Create and release drawings, part numbers and special parts for orders. Produce Bills of Material for panel assemblies. Produce the electrical section of the Operation and Maintenance Manuals. Coordinates with Mechanical Engineering on contract projects.
This position can be a HYBRID-REMOTE position. Candidates must be willing to train onsite for a month, and be willing to come onsite monthly.
Company offers 5% profit sharing and 5% Bonus + 5 weeks of vacation first year.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
3+ years of experience as an Electrical/Controls Engineer working for an OEM/Integrator
3+ years of experience with Electrical Design for automated machinery
3+ years of experience electrical design using AutoCAD
Experience designing electrical control panels (RECENT)
Experience with bills of material for panel assemblies
Strong communication skills and comfortable with client communication
Willing to travel 10% domestic and international
Willing to be onsite for first month
Willing to be onsite monthly for a couple of days
Associates Degree in Electrical Design or similar
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
BS in Electrical Engineering or related
Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
