The Automation Engineer will be setting up automated systems in the food & bev industry, particularly with dairy processing. The company is quickly growing and is looking for someone that can hit the ground running both programming controls from scratch and maintaining existing systems. The ideal candidate will have process automation experience, primarily in the food & dairy industries (think liquid process like beverage, oil & gas, or chemical).
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer
3+ years of RECENT experience with liquid processing
5+ years of experience programming Allen Bradley PLC's from scratch
Must have ControlLogix
5+ years of experience programming RSView or Wonderware OR ignition HMI's
Experience with reading P&ID's
Experience with Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, or RIO
Willing to travel up to 25%
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
CompactLogix, PLC5, SLC500
Experience in Food & Bev process automation
Experience with electrical design using AutoCAD
Project management experience
BS in Engineering
