Controls Engineer responsible for working within or leading small multi-discipline teams to develop new optical fiber manufacturing equipment targeted at improved product attributes, reduced cost, or increased manufacturing output of optical fiber.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 4+ years experience designing control systems for automated manufacturing equipment
- 4+ years experience programming Allen Bradley PLC’s
- 4+ years experience with HMI/SCADA programming
- VFD and Servo programming
- AutoCAD Electrical
- BS in Engineering (Electrical Preferred)
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Knowledge/experience in materials processing equipment
- Familiarity with PLC and PC-based systems, including Beckhoff or B&R controls.
- Experience with the OSI PI (historian) interface
