As an Associate Principal / Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Interface, you’ll lead the electrical discipline on multiple complex MEP projects across sectors such as commercial, medical, biotech, education, and transportation. Responsibilities include managing multi-discipline design teams, overseeing electrical system design, consulting with clients, mentoring staff, and supporting overall project management.
This position has mulitple benefits including:
- Salary of $160,000 to $185,000 plus bonus
- Hybrid schedule 2 days onsite & 3 days remote

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- 10+ years of experience with MEP Electrical Engineering design for commerical, institutional, and/or industrial buildings
- Experience with healthcare building design and HCAI compliance
- Experience with Team leadership/management
- Experience with Project Management Experience in the MEP space
- Comfortable working direct with Clients
- Strong communications (client facing)
- BS in Electrical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- PE License ( or willing to get/transfer)
- Experience with Revit & AutoCAD design for Electrical/BIM
- Experience with LEED principles for building design
- LEED accreditation
- Experience with project management and signing or sealing off on engineering documents
- Experience with business development
- MS in Electrical Engineering or similar
