Reporting to the Manager of Maintenance, the Assistant Manager of Maintenance is responsible for ensuring overall product quality, meeting waste/ productivity goals, machine safety and the minimization of downtime through effective equipment maintenance.They are a forging company that makes crankshafts for automobiles and light trucks.
This is a 3rd shift position- 11pm-7am.
Required Experience
- 10+ years of experience in a Maintenance role in a manufacturing/industrial facility
- 3+ years of experience in a lead or supervising position
- 10+ years of experience with preventative maintenance for manufacturing equipment and machinery
- 10+ years of experience with maintenance for manufacturing building systems including HVAC, air handling, plumbing, pumps, valves, and hydraulic devices
- 10+ years of experience overseeing production maintenance operations and facilities maintenance
- Experienced with budgeting and scheduling
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willing to be hands on as needed and on call for weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment
- Willing to work third shift (11pm-7am)
- AA Degree
Desired Experience
- Experience with supervising or managing a maintenance team
- BS in Engineering
