The Controls Engineer will design and implement plant, unit, governor, and excitation control systems for electrical generation facilities.They will generate all design work associated with assigned projects, including design reports, documentation, and programming.
REQUIRED EXPEREINCE AND SKILLS:
2+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer in power generation
2+ years of experience with designing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
2+ years of experience with PLC and HMI programming
Experience with testing and commissioning equipment
Travel up to 25%
BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with hydraulic systems and hydroelectric power
Experience with commisioning governor, hydraulic, and unit control systems
Experience reading and interpreting mechanical drawings
