The Controls Engineer role at Mikron Automation is ideal for professionals with foundational experience in electrical engineering and automation design. You’ll contribute independently to the development of scalable, high-performance automation platforms, supporting life-saving pharmaceutical and medical technologies, as well as automotive and consumer goods industries.
We have multple roles for difference experience levels available for this position with salaries ranging from $80K to $140K depending on your level of experience.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• 1+ year of experience with automation and controls
• 1+ year of programming Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs and HMIs
• Experience with electrical hardware and schematics for industrial machinery
• Experience with setup and basic troubleshooting of local and remote I/O
• Experience with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP)
• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
• Experience with industrial control systems and architecture
• Experience with integration of third-party equipment
• Experience with object-oriented programming (e.g., C#) and scripting tools
• Experience in servo and VFD configuration and tuning
• Experience in applying electrical standards (NFPA 79, UL 508A, NEC)
