The Die Design Engineer will be designing various dies, fixtures, and equipment and programming the appropriate CNC machines. They will also act as a supervisor to the tool and die department and liaison from the toolroom to production personnel.
REQUIRED EXPEREINCE AND SKILLS:
8+ years of experience with die design including flat pierce and progressive dies
8+ years of experience with 3D CAD software
2+ years of experience with CNC programming
Experiecne with CAM software
Experience working with CNC lathes, veritcal mills, and wire EDM machines
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experienece with Keycreator CAD software
Experience with FeatureCAM software
Experience with project management
Experience in a supervisory role
Experience with electrical layout or PLC programming
