The Die Design Engineer will be designing various dies, fixtures, and equipment and programming the appropriate CNC machines. They will also act as a supervisor to the tool and die department and liaison from the toolroom to production personnel.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience with die design including flat pierce or progressive dies
5+ years of experience with 3D CAD software
2+ years of experience with CNC programming including lathes, mills, and wire EDM machines
Experience with CAM software
Experinece troubleshooting CNC machines and tooling
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with Keycreator CAD software
Experience with FeatureCAM software
Experience with project management
Experience in a supervisory role
Experience with electrical layout or PLC programming
BS in Engineering
Experience with any of the following machines:
Cincinnati lathe
Haas Lathes
Cincinnati vertical mill
Haas vertical mills
Sodick Wire EDM machine
Mitsubishi Wire EDM machine
