The Electrical Engineer will be working heavily in Protection and Control for power utilities. They will be setting microprocessor based relays. Creating and developing logic diagrams, completing Coordination Studies using Aspen software, and testing these relays on-site, sing a Doble or Omicron test set to push current and voltage and test out the relays.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
1+ years of experince as an Electrical Engineer working with protection and control in the power industry
1+ years of experience with microprocessor based relays (SEL and GE relays is a big plus)
Experience with creating relay logic diagrams
Experiecne with simulation software such as ASPEN
Experience with relay test software such as Doble or Omicron
BS in Electrical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with on-site relay testing
EIT or PE License
