The Electrical Engineer III will be involved in improving existing product lines and developing new products, fixtures, tools, instruments through the evaluation and application of novel ideas, engineering concepts and new technology for electronic medical devices. This position will manage projects from research, design, manufacturing, testing, calibration, to procurement and operations.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in an electronic design or product development role
5+ years of experience with Altium or Spice for PCB design, simulation, and schematic capture
2+ years of recent experience in electronic medical device manufacturing
Experience with LabVIEW or Minitab analysis software
Working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820, ISO-13485, AAMI BP-22, or AAMI NS-28
Experience with project management
BS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience conducting Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), Performance Qualification (PQ), and Test Method Validation (TMV)
Experience with Solidworks or other 3D modeling software
Experience with catheter products
Experience with design for manufacturing and assembly DFMA
Experience creating specialized manufacturing and test equipment
