Senior Electrical Design Engineer (MEP)

As an Associate Principal / Senior Electrical Design Engineer at Interface, you’ll lead the electrical discipline on multiple complex MEP projects across sectors such as commercial, medical, biotech, education, and transportation. Responsibilities include managing multi-discipline design teams, overseeing electrical system design, consulting with clients, mentoring staff, and supporting overall project management.

This position has mulitple benefits including:

  • Salary of $160,000 to $185,000 plus bonus

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • 10+ years of experience with MEP Electrical Engineering design for commerical, institutional, and/or industrial buildings
  • Experience with healthcare building design and HCAI compliance 
  • Experience with Team leadership/management 
  • Experience with Project Management Experience in the MEP space
  • Comfortable working direct with Clients
  • Strong communications (client facing)
  • BS in Electrical Engineering 

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • PE License ( or willing to get/transfer)
  • Experience with Revit & AutoCAD design for Electrical/BIM
  • Experience with LEED principles for building design
  • LEED accreditation
  • Experience with project management and signing or sealing off on engineering documents
  • Experience with business development
  • MS in Electrical Engineering or similar

Maintenance Engineer- Utilities

MAINTENANCE ENGINEER- UTILITIES
The Facilities and Maintenance Engineer (FME) will be responsible for maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities for a pharmaceutical manufacturer, working with minimal supervision. The FME will plan, coordinate and execute all facilities and equipment operational readiness including, but not limited to, all maintenance and repairs (facilities, buildings and equipment), managing the preventive maintenance system, equipment specifications. 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
3+ years of experience with hands on maintenance in a batch, packaging, or high-speed manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience with maintaining and troubleshooting HVACS, Boilers, Water Systems, and Climate Control
3+ years of experience reading and understandingelectrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and other diagrams and troubleshooting electrical controls, electrical motors and servomotors
Experience with commissioning and setting preventative maintenance schedules for automated equipment
Ability to problem solve and work independently
BS in Engineering or 5+ years of relevant experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or similar
Experience with process equipment machinery and systems
Experience with machine control systems including PLCs, servo controls, and Variable Speed Drives.
Experience with pharmaceutical or food manufacturing
Experience with cGMP and/or FDA regulations
Experience with sterile injectable drugs and aseptic processing
Experience with maintenance for clean room systems 
Experience with maintenance management software (CMMS)
