JOB DESCRIPTION
The Electrical and Controls Engineer II will execute plant support, troubleshooting, and lead improvement projects for the facility and support capital projects as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years of experience as a controls engineer in a manufacturing environment
- Solid knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLC and HMI applications (including programming) along with communications within enterprise and control networked systems.
- Must be able to read/understand electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Demonstrated knowledge in the application of the NFPA 70E
- Ability to manage and support multiple (1-3) projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated success managing projects $50k – $200k
- Requires travel (10%)
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Demonstrated experience in the engineering and implementation of 480V (Switchgear, Power Distribution Panel, Motor Control Center) and 4160V Power Distribution Systems.
- Knowledge of DCS/SCADA systems
- AutoCAD/electrical experience
- Ignition/Wonderware software experience
