The Senior Controls Engineer is responsible for leading projects where electrical engineering and/or software/PLC programming is required.  They will work closely with the customer and provide project management throughout the life of the project.  In addition to project duties, Senior Controls Engineers may be required to provide training to other employees and are expected to gain a deeper understanding of controls principals.  

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer working on industrial automation equipment
5+ years of experience with programming Allen Bradley PLC's
Experience with HMI development using FactoryTalk View, WinCC, OR Wonderware
Experience with testing and troubleshooting equipment and electrical systems
Travel up to 20%
BS in Electrical Engineering or 10 + years of experience

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
BS in Electrical Engineering or related
Experience with an OEM automation equipment company or automation integrator
Experience with robotics programming
Experience with programming Siemens PLC's 
Experience with providing sales with quotes for electrical portion of projects

Field Service Engineer to design and retrofit control systems and thermal processing equipment. Our customers are heat treating facilities across the United States. Candidate will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements, designing and commissioning controls and SCADA equipment. The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for PLC programming, instrument configuration and setup, SCADA screen design, customer support, project management and end user training. 

This is a salaried position with extensive overtime paid at 1.5X hourly rate, a $600 car allowance, relocation/signon bonus, 401K Matched 5% day one, and other excellent benefits. Travel is mostly within midwest and you will be home on weekends. 

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

• 5+ years' experience as Controls Engineer in manufacturing
• 5+ years' experience PLC programming  with Allen Bradley
• 5+ years' experience HMI programming with FactoryTalk
• Ladder Logic programming experience
• Willing to travel 75% of the time and work in Industrial environments
• Must be able to physically install instrumentation and equipment. This may include landing wires, and use of power tools.
• Setup, debug, and commissioning experience
• Strong client facing skills
