The Manufacturing Engineer will plan, design, set up, modify, optimize, and monitor manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, and productivity for their industrial screws, barrels, and front end components which are high-performance machinery components and equipment for the plastics industry that they manufacture.
The manufacturing engineer will also manage capacity addition, process improvement, and equipment replacement projects including project scope, costing, business case development, resource planning, timeline, and execution.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
5+ years of experience as a HANDS ON Manufacturing Engineer in a CNC or machining environment
Experience with SolidWorks or AutoCad for design and fixturing
Experience with designing, operating, and troubleshooting CNC machines
Experience with CNC tools including, lathes, mills, cylindrical grinders, EDMs, or machining centers
AS in Engineering or work equivalent experience
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience with manufacturing for industrial screws or metal barrels
Experience with project management for captial equipment projects
Experience with G or M Code, or PLC programming
Six Sigma or PMP certifications
BS in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
Salary Range: $70,000 to $110,000 DOE
