The Sales Engineer – Composites, will identify and pursue new prospects and actively and diligently promote and solicit orders working with engineers, municipal/utility workers, OEM, and other key business associates such as manufacturing reps to sell composites/fiberglass products including Rectangular Tanks, DuraFiber Buildings, and Tank Covers. They will work through product layouts, various building layout/options, prepare quotes, follow-up with prospects and customers, maintain customer records, and will oversee product training, market education, and manufacturer rep network expansion.
REQUIRED EXPERINCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience in a technical sales position
Experience selling products for municipal or civil engineering projects
Experience with using engineering principles to prepare technical proposals
Experience with providing quotes or bidding custom projects
Strong customer facing and presentation skills
Willing to travel 50%
BS in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERINCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with water and wastewater treatment facilities and equipment
Experience with civil engineering projects
