The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will Oversee & Manage all Manufacturing Engineering functions including all Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Automation, Plastics Process Engineering, and Tool and Equipment Engineering. They will create and manage capital budgets plan for the plant based on continuous improvement projects and new process start ups for a automotive supplier.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
10+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or related in a plastics manufacturing envrionment
5+ years of experience in an Engineering Management position with direct reports
5+ years of experience with plastic injection molding
Experience with creating and maintaining capital and departmental budgets
Experience with scientific molding priciples
Experience with applying Lean Manufacturing principles and identifying Continuous Improvement opportunities
BS in Plastics or Mechanical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experinece with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 automotive supplier
Project Management Certification (PMP)
Experinece with wire harness manufacturing
