The Manufacturing Engineer Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing activities within a medical device manufacturing facility and ensuring that products are produced to meet quality standards, production schedules, and cost objectives. This position is a hands-on role that collaborates with various departments to improve manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience in an engineering role in a medical device manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience managing engineers in a manufacturing environment
Experience with manual and automated manufacturing process development
Experience with implementing lean manufacturing principles and leading continuous improvement projects
Experience with ISO 13485 quality standards
Experience with setting and managing department budgets
BS in Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with electronics manufacturing (electronic medical devices ideal)
Experience with clean room environments
