The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for taking ownership of new ideas and developing new products and the processes to realize such products. Develop and prepare designs, piece, part, and assembly drawings. Work to satisfy customers and provide operational support.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
3+ years as a Mechanical Design Engineer in a manufacturing environment
3+ years of experience with mechanical design using Solidworks
Experience with geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blue prints
Strong customer facing skills
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
BS in Mechanical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience designing tight-tolerance machined components
Experience designing metal fittings or connectors
