The Senior Mechanical Engineer will act as a mentor and manage Junior Engineers on staff, emphasizing teamwork and professional development. As the leader of our Mechanical Engineering team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for taking a project from the conceptual stage through completion, including detailed design and analysis, budgeting, and timelines.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
5+ years of experience with Mechanical Design using Solidworks
Experience with custom machine part and tooling design
Experience with creating project scopes, budgeting, and managing timelines
Experience with sizing and specification of equipment
Strong client facing skills
BS in Mechanical Engineering
DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience with custom automation equipment projects
Experience with robotics and vision systems
Experience with creating and presenting proposals
Experience AutoCAD or DraftSight
