The Plant Engineer will be responsible for the project management of multiple projects for packaging engineering and PLC programming support to the entire operation including production and equipment.
They will be going through an ERP upgrade in Q1 for 2024 and will also be heavily involved with that. They are a supplier of fats, oils, mayonnaise, dressings and sauces to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
2+ years of experience with controls maintenance and troubleshooting manufacturing equipment
Experience with project management including managing budgets and labor
Experience with process and continuous improvement techniques
Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting packaging equipment
Experience with programming Allen Bradley PLC’s and HMI’s
BS in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Experience programming PLC’s & HMI’s for packaging equipment
Experience working in the food industry, fats, oils, mayonnaise, dressings and sauces
Experience with CMMS programming with MP2 software
Experience with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements
Salary Range: $70,000 to $104,000 DOE
Bonus: 5% annual bonus
$5k relocation as a sign on bonus
